Can you tell us a little about yourself? Where are you from and what do you love to do? I am from Weymouth MA and I am a college senior. I love all things music specifically singing and piano, I also love fashion and modeling.
What's your favorite way to spend a perfect Sunday morning? Sleeping in eating breakfast with my roommates and gossiping about the night before.
How would you describe your personality in a few words? Confident, outgoing, friendly
How would your best friend describe you in three words? Funny, Secure, Ambitious
What’s a fun fact about you that most people might not know? I have a pet poodle
What makes you feel confident in front of the camera? Any tips for others? I have always loved taking photos and being in the spotlight. I think the biggest thing to remember is that the small insecurities you’re worried about will not be noticed by anyone except for yourself. Confidence is fake it until you make it. For the longest time I pretended I was confident and then eventually it turned into real confidence.
If you could trade lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? I would trade lives with Taylor Swift. She is so driven and smart and ambitious I would love to see what she does in her daily life.
How has your relationship with being photographed evolved over time? I have always enjoyed it and now I feel the most confident I ever have in front of the camera.
What was your favorite part of the photoshoot experience? I enjoyed Chris’s instruction. It’s nice to have someone telling you what poses look good and suggesting ideas from a professional standpoint.
If you could give advice to someone nervous about their first photoshoot, what would you say? I would say don’t be nervous just pretend it’s your friend taking photos of you. Be yourself and be confident, know your angles and know your good sides.
What’s your go-to “power pose” or favorite way to strike a pose? Hand on the hips with a straight face mouth slightly open.
If you could design your dream photoshoot, what would it look like? Simple backgrounds and simple outfits with really fun and unique poses.
What is your guilty pleasure (e.g., a favorite snack, TV show, or activity)? I love the TV show new girl. If I need to decompress I order Chinese food watch new girl and drink some barefoot pink moscato wine.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? “You have a very positive energy”
How would you describe your personal style? Classy with a touch of personality.
What's your favorite outfit that makes you feel unstoppable? I love a little black dress moment with tights and pumps.
If you could have dinner with three famous people (dead or alive), who would they be? Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, and Jennifer Anniston.
Who or what inspires your vibes? Could be anything - a movie character, your stylish grandma, a cool coffee shop, or even a whole decade! Rachel from Friends. Love 90s style.
What kind of music puts you in the perfect mood for a photoshoot? Fleetwood Mac
What's the most challenging part of modeling/being photographed that people might not realize? The posing. There is a lot to think about all at once and sometimes poses can look amazing while being very uncomfortable physically.
What's your favorite type of location for shoots (studio, outdoors, urban, etc.) and why? I prefer studio shoots. I feel like it looks more professional.
How has modeling/being photographed impacted your self-confidence? My self confidence has improved drastically. Seeing the photos after and realizing most of the time they are better than what I imagined is an amazing feeling.
What's the most valuable lesson you've learned through your photography experiences Just to have fun with it. A million pictures are taken so there have to be good ones in there so don’t stress too much about trying to make every shot flawless.
In what ways has being in front of the camera pushed you out of your comfort zone? I’ve worn some outfits that I would’ve never chosen for myself and that was really fun. It’s interesting to pose in something that doesn’t feel natural on you.
How do you hope to inspire others through your photos? Yes I hope that anyone who dreams of modeling can feel inspired by seeing my photos.
What goals do you have for your modeling/photography journey in the next year? I am hoping to sign with the New York agency NYMMG in hopes to walk in NYFW.
How would you describe your experience working with Photography Shark Studios Lovely. Chris is an amazing photographer, he always makes sure I feel comfortable and he gives words of encouragement during the shoot which is really reassuring when you’re not sure how the photos look.
