Composite Photography
Composite Photography is simply the blending of two or more images to create one final image. While this definition makes Compositing sound quick and easy, it’s anything but, often times requiring several hours of photography and Photoshop work to complete a final piece.
Glamour Photography
Glamour photography is photography that highlights beauty, sexiness, allure, dazzle, fine lines and even romance. Glamour photography emphasizes drama and the model themselves. Glamour photography is a little bit more risqué but tastefully done. These range from partially nude to nude but covered poses. A glamour photographer wants the subject to be to be showcased in one very eye catching image. Glamour shots are staples in portfolios of not only professional and aspiring models but of celebrities, socialites and other prominent members of society as well. They use these photos for various reasons – for business, as work samples, to seek popularity or fame to maintain a certain image or for just private or personal use.
Boudoir Photography
“Boudoir” is a French word meaning a lady’s private dressing room or bedroom. In photography, boudoir refers to a style in which women pose for photographs partially clothed or in lingerie. The photos are tasteful and nudity is typically implied rather than explicit. They are sensual and sexy as well as classy and elegant. Photos and albums from boudoir shoots make excellent wedding day, anniversary, holiday and birthday gifts, with wedding gifts for the husband-to-be becoming extremely popular. These photos are also used as a way to document how great you look and feel about yourself at this given time.
Classical Portraiture
Classical portraiture refers to an image where face is the predominant element. The purpose of the photograph is to depict visual representation of that person. Subject is expected to be looking directly at the camera. With what is described as a head-shot, two thirds or full body framing can be used
Fashion Photography
Fashion photography is a genre of photography which is devoted to displaying clothing and other fashion items. Fashion photography is most often conducted for advertisements or fashion magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, or Elle. Fashion photography has developed its own aesthetic in which the clothes and fashions are enhanced by the presence of exotic accessories.
