Client Reviews
What Clients Say
“Chris is the ultimate professional. He made me comfortable. He is kind. He is considerate. His work is absolutely stunning. He works quickly and I received my photos the next day, which is unheard of. His studio is in a beautiful old mill that adds to the ambiance of creativity. I walked into a world of photography photos, props, equipment, and furnishings. I knew in that moment this was someone who went above and beyond because of his love of this profession.”

Portrait Photography — Google Review
“Chris got so many amazing shots. He gave posing assistance and really worked with the lighting to make sure I was getting the most out of the shoot. He walked me through the photos while I was there to make sure we were getting the right angles. He also suggested different backgrounds and ideas for the photos. I got the finished photos back in a timely manner. Without a doubt one of the best photographers I have worked with.”

Headshot Photography — Google Review
“Every aspect of the experience was absolutely perfect. My daughter is new to modeling and needs a lot of support with posing and expressions. From the get-go Chris made her feel 100% comfortable. The vibe was relaxed with music and he had her laughing authentically. The photos are absolutely stunning — they capture her true beauty and the quality is the best I've seen.”

Hi, I'm Chris.
I'm Chris McCarthy. I've spent over 10 years photographing actors, executives, models, and professionals — the people who need images that actually perform, not just look nice. My studio in Rockland runs Godox strobe systems and I build every lighting setup from scratch for the session type: clamshell configurations for clean LinkedIn and corporate work, split-lighting for theatrical actor looks, broad softboxes for editorial style portraits.
I shoot Sony full-frame mirrorless. Galleries are delivered in 3–5 business days — not two weeks. Every image is individually retouched, not batch-processed.
I've worked with actors at the Huntington and New Repertory Theatre, executives at law firms, financial advisors, healthcare professionals, and tech startups across Greater Boston. If the photos need to work — casting submissions, LinkedIn, press kits, corporate directories — that's the work I was built to do.
