What to Expect at Your Session
Every session at Photography Shark follows the same proven process whether you're booking a 30-minute headshot or a 90-minute personal branding package. Here's what the experience looks like from first contact through final delivery.
Book online or by phone. Reach out through the contact form or call (781) 312-8824. Chris responds personally — usually within a few hours — and will walk you through which session type fits your goals. Most clients lock in a date within 48 hours. Same-week studio availability is common.
Arrive 10 minutes early for a wardrobe consultation.The Rockland studio has free on-site parking. When you arrive, Chris will review the outfits you brought, suggest combinations that photograph well under studio lighting, and discuss the backgrounds and framing that match the look you're going for. If you're not sure what to bring, wardrobe guidance is included during the booking call.
The session runs 30–60 minutes depending on the package.Headshot sessions are 30 minutes with 2–3 outfit changes. Actor sessions and personal branding packages run 60–90 minutes with more looks, more lighting setups, and environmental frames if included. Chris handles all posing direction, expression coaching, and lighting adjustments. No prior modeling or photography experience needed.

Receive 10 retouched images in 3–5 business days. Each final image is individually hand-retouched — no batch filters or AI presets. High-resolution digital files are delivered via download link. Commercial use license is included with every session, so you can use the images on LinkedIn, your company website, business cards, or anywhere else without restrictions or expiration.

That means the person you speak to during your booking call is the same person behind the camera, the same person retouching your images, and the same person answering follow-up questions after delivery. Over 500 sessions have been completed this way since the studio opened in 2019.
Every package includes a commercial use license with no expiration and no usage restrictions. Your images are yours to use on LinkedIn, your company website, business cards, press materials, or anywhere else — permanently. How much do Photography Shark sessions cost?
Studio headshot sessions start at $395 (30 min, 10 images); on-location headshots start at $495. Senior portrait packages start at $395. Boudoir sessions start at $1,295 (hair & makeup included). Studio rental is $55/hour with a 2-hour minimum. Contact Photography Shark for event pricing.

How long does it take to receive photos?
Headshots are delivered within 3–5 business days. Senior portrait and outdoor sessions within 7–10 business days. Rush delivery is available on request.

Yes. Headshot sessions include an on-location option for $100 additional. Senior portrait sessions are available at South Shore beaches, parks, and outdoor locations. Boston sessions are also available.
