Junior Year, Spring (April–June): Lock the Date

Summer (July–August): The First Shooting Window

Late July through August is the first of the two prime windows. Greenery on the South Shore is at its fullest, golden hours are long, and the pace is relaxed because school has not started.

Summer suits seniors who want lush, open, warm-weather images and who would rather have portraits done before the fall crush of sports, applications, and activities begins. If a senior plays a fall sport or is deep in early-decision college applications, shooting in summer takes the session off an already overloaded autumn plate.

Early Fall (Late September–Mid-October): Peak Light

Winter–Spring: Prints, Announcements, and Gifts

Once the gallery is finalized, the images go to work.
