What to Expect
Senior Portraits Designed Around You
Senior year is a milestone that deserves more than a quick smile-and-click. We spend time before the session learning what matters to you — your sport, your style, your plans after graduation — and build a studio session around that. The goal is photos that feel authentic, not posed.
Our Rockland studio gives us full control over light, background, and mood — a clean, dimensional, yearbook-ready look in any weather or season. Multiple backdrops and lighting setups mean real variety inside a single session, and prefer the polish of a controlled environment over the unpredictability of an outdoor shoot. Want an outdoor South Shore location too? We can add one on request.

Why It Matters
Studio-First Senior Portraits — With Outdoor Options When You Want Them
Senior year goes fast. The portraits you take now are the ones your family will print, frame, and keep for decades. A phone photo from graduation day is a memory; a professional senior portrait session is an investment in how this chapter is documented. There's a meaningful difference between the two — and most families only realize it after the fact.
Our Rockland studio gives you full control over light, background, and mood — the kind of clean, dimensional look that no outdoor session can reliably replicate. Most senior packages start in the studio for the yearbook-ready look, then optionally add an outdoor location for something more personal. South Shore locations like Duxbury Beach, Scituate Lighthouse, or World's End in Hingham are a short drive away and available on request. See our top 10 senior photo locations on the South Shore →
We serve seniors from every high school on the South Shore: Hingham, Norwell, Scituate, Marshfield, Duxbury, Plymouth North and South, Kingston, Pembroke, Hanover, Rockland, Whitman-Hanson, and beyond. If you're looking for a senior portrait photographer who knows your area, books quickly, and delivers images your family will love, reach out early — summer slots fill fast.
Not sure what to wear? Our guides on what to wear for senior photos and choosing outfits for your senior session cover everything from color palettes to accessories.
Senior portraits are also a practical document: most South Shore high schools require a formal portrait submission for the yearbook, and many families use session images for graduation announcements, college applications, and family displays. According to Professional Photographers of America, professionally photographed portraits are consistently rated as among the most treasured family heirlooms — second only to home videos.
Travel time: All on-location shoots require a separate travel quote. Contact us with your location before booking for a full quote.

FAQ
Senior Portrait Questions
When should I book my senior portraits?
Studio sessions run year-round, so you are not weather- or season-dependent — but yearbook deadlines for most South Shore schools run September through October, so booking 4–6 weeks ahead of your deadline is the safe window. Summer and early fall are busiest. If you want to add an outdoor location to your studio session, book a little earlier so we can schedule the daylight portion around golden hour. Let us know your school at booking so we deliver the right yearbook image format on time.
Where do you shoot senior portraits?
Sessions are based at our Rockland, MA studio, where controlled lighting and a range of backdrops give you a clean, dimensional, yearbook-ready look that an outdoor session can't reliably reproduce. If you'd like to add an outdoor location on the South Shore — a beach, harbor, or your high school — we can build that into the session on request. The studio is the foundation; outdoor is an optional add-on.
How many outfit changes are included?
It depends on your package. The Mini covers 1 outfit, the Classic 2 outfits, the Heirloom 3 outfits, and the Collection allows unlimited outfits. Most seniors bring a mix that represents different sides of their personality — casual, dressed up, athletic or activity-based, and something meaningful to them personally. We map the lineup during the planning consultation so changes stay quick on shoot day.
Do you offer yearbook photos?
Yes. All sessions include a yearbook-spec image delivered in the format your school requires. We're familiar with the submission requirements for most South Shore high schools including Hingham, Norwell, Scituate, Marshfield, Duxbury, Plymouth North and South, and others. Let us know your school and deadline at booking.
